We live in Denver with two Siamese cats who think they own us.

My first science fiction novel, Dark Biology, is like Apollo 13 with a deadly virus.

I’m a cancer survivor. After my initial diagnosis of malignant melanoma, I endured four years of treatment.

I wrote a devotional book, Cancer Warriors: 52 Devotions for Cancer Patients and Those Who Love Them, based on my experiences, to encourage others to see God in the midst of their pain.

I enjoy writing (most of the time), cooking, Sudoku, reading, and watching old science fiction movies.
